Alby Electrical & Air

Your sitemap tells Google to ignore your 25 air conditioning pages. It does include two test pages about Brisbane.

The goal

Most Perth electrical businesses your size sit between $30k and $100k a month. If the goal is holding $100k consistently rather than riding the season, this is about the gap between those two numbers.

What we found

1

Your sitemap tells Google to skip your 25 air conditioning pages

We read your sitemap files directly on 14 September 2026. Not in it: the Inglewood page (your only page that gets traffic), every air-conditioning-{suburb} page, roughly 25 of them, and every emergency-electrician page. In it: /testbrisbane/ and /testcanberra/, two test pages about other cities. Result from Ahrefs the same day: your whole site ranks for 4 keywords in Australia.

What it costs: You've paid for over 100 pages of content, and the sitemap points Google at two test pages about Brisbane instead of the air conditioning business half your name is built on.

The fix: Regenerate the sitemap so it lists every real page and none of the test ones, then resubmit it in Search Console. A settings change, not a rebuild.

2

Four live pages tell Google you operate in Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra and Hobart

All four are live right now: /testbrisbane/, /testcanberra/, /testhobart/ and /testsydney/. Every one carries the same heading, "Safety Switch Installation in Perth", with only the URL and title changed to the wrong city. Two of them are in your sitemap, so you're actively asking Google to index them.

What it costs: Google is being told a Perth electrician operates in four other capital cities, on pages that contradict their own titles. It muddies the local signal that decides whether you show up in Inglewood at all.

The fix: Delete all four. Five minutes, and check nothing else from that build is still live.

177 Google reviews, and no rating anywhere on your website

Your Google Business Profile shows 4.9 stars from 177 reviews. Your website publishes no review count and no rating anywhere, including on the Inglewood page, the only page that gets traffic. Your website also shows a personal mobile, 0415 397 334, while directories list your business number, 1300 894 009.

What it costs: The one page Google actually sends people to is the page with the least proof on it, and the phone number on it isn't even your business line.

The fix: Pull 4.9 and 177 live from Google into the first screen of every page, and put the 1300 number on the site.

Your Facebook ads send people to Facebook, not to your website

Two live Facebook ads, both started 2 September 2026. Both send people to a Facebook page, not albyelectrical.com.au. The air conditioning ad doesn't land on any of your 25 air conditioning pages.

What it costs: You've built the pages that would answer an air conditioning customer's questions, and every paid click goes somewhere those pages don't exist.

The fix: Point the air conditioning ad at your best air conditioning page, once the sitemap fix has let Google find it.

Who we've helped: We recently helped Daniel from Nexus Electrical Co, a Perth electrician, with his Meta ad content and website landing pages. Real result: 16 leads at $41.57 cost per lead in his first campaign month.

Hey, thanks for taking a look at the audit.

I only spent about half an hour on your digital presence and found these four things. They're not the biggest issues out there, but they all add up to how you rank and how you show up online.

If you want to go deeper, I'd love to take a proper look at your paid ads, specifically Google and Meta, and hear a bit about your business and where you want to take it, whether there's a revenue number you're chasing. We specialise in Perth service businesses, tradies and schools included.

If any of this is worth a conversation, send me a message below and I'll give you a call.

Thanks,
Chris
